Our premium blends are locally formulated to help attract the widest variety of birds! Stop by and our knowledgeable staff will recommend the blend best for your area.
Southwest No Mess- "No muss-no fuss" Heavy in sunflower with just enough millet and cracked corn for your ground feeding birds. No shells means a clean feeding area for you and your birds. Works great all year round.

Deluxe- Our most popular blend. Fairly heavy in black-oil sunflower seeds for all your feeder birds with plenty of white millet for your ground feeding birds. Works all year, but especially popular in fall and winter with migrating sparrow species and wintering juncos.
Albuquerque Supreme Our heaviest sunflower blend. Recommended for east mountain and valley customers year round. Works great in all areas especially in summer months when there are fewer ground feeding birds. Preferred by chickadees, nutatches, finches and grosbeaks.
Select Plus- Strictly a ground feeding blend. Not recommended for feeders due to its heavy millet and cracked corn content. Scatter in a ground tray or directly on the ground for all your ground feeding quail, towhees, dove, sparrow species and wintering juncos.
We usually recommend feeding a seed blend to attract the widest variety of brids, but we do have popular individual seeds.
Black Oil Sunflower- The preferred seed of all feeder birds-big and small. Chickadees, nuthatches, titmice, finches, grosbeaks and more love this high energy seed. Works best in tube or hopper style feeder above the ground.
Medium Sunflower Chips- Liked by all sunflower eating birds. It is simply sunflower seed without the shell.
Safflower- A small percentage of this seed is in most of our blends. Used mainly as a problem-solving seed if it is fed by itself. House sparrows and blackbirds don't like it very much. Recommended seed if these birds are dominating your feeding area.
White Millet- Stictly a ground seed preferred by ground feeding birds like sparrows species, dove, towhees and wintering juncos. Included in most seed blends and will be kicked to the ground by sunflower eating birds.
Nyger (Thistle)- A specialty seed to be fed in nyjer/thistle feeders. Preferred by our Lesser goldfinch and Pine-siskins. These cute yellow birds are year long residents.
Seed blocks/cylinders- Loaded with nuts and sunflower seeds. Preferred by all seed eating birds like finches, thrashers, grosbeaks, chickadees, nuthatches, sparrows and even non-seed eating birds like Bushtits, woodpeckers, kinglets and warblers. Easy to hang and last longer than loose seed.
In the shell- Preferred by Scrub and Stellar jays, thrashers, flickers and squirrels.
Out of the shell- Preferred by Pinyon Jays, chickadees, nuthatches, bushtits, and woodpeckers. We recommend feeing shelled nuts in a specialized feeder.
