• Add a heater to your bird bath as temperatures begin to dip below freezing.
• Festival of the cranes at Bosque del Apache in New Mexico (Check for changes to schedule due to COVID-19 )
• Birds begin to flock.
• Bushtits come in large groups to suet feeders.
• Fall migration "ends." Present birds will remain in the area for winter.
• Yellow-rumped Warblers present throughout the region.
• Watch for Cedar Waxwings flocking with Robins in search of berries and water.
• Pinesiskins are seen throughout city and mountain areas on nyjer/thistle feeders.
• Leonid meteor shower is mid-month.
