How to Prepare Your Yard for Spring

With the right additions, your yard can be even more attractive to visiting birds. Clean and refill feeders to welcome migrating and nesting birds.

Add Fresh Water: Place a birdbath or fountain to provide water for your birds. 

Inspect Nesting Areas: Clean out birdhouses and provide materials like twigs and grass for nest building.

Bird Baths

Birds need water to keep their feathers in top-flight condition and for good insulation on cool spring nights. Add a decorative bird bath that is bird-friendly. We carry a variety of ceramic, concrete and other styles.

Clean your existing bird baths with a 10% bleach (one part bleach to nine parts water) solution. Rinse thoroughly and allow them to completely dry. Refill your bird baths with fresh water at least once a week.
